In this project, I worked on a brand new product website and focused on building its SEO foundation from scratch. The goal was to help the site start gaining visibility, impressions, and clicks in Google within the early growth phase. Performance was tracked using Google Search Console data.
Project Overview
Step 1: New Website SEO Setup
-
Started with a fresh domain with no prior authority.
-
Implemented basic on-page SEO structure across pages.
-
Ensured proper indexing and crawlability.
Goal: Help Google discover and understand the new site.
Step 2: On-Page Optimization
-
Optimized titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
-
Structured content around relevant product keywords.
-
Improved internal linking between pages.
Goal: Build strong topical relevance from the beginning.
Step 3: Indexing & Visibility Growth
-
Submitted sitemap and monitored indexing.
-
Focused on making pages search-ready quickly.
Goal: Increase impressions in early stages.
Step 4: Keyword Targeting Strategy
-
Targeted long-tail and low-competition keywords first.
-
Gradually expanded keyword footprint.
Goal: Help a new site start appearing in search results faster.
Results
Within the early growth period, the new website achieved:
-
76.1K total impressions
-
474 total clicks
-
Average position: 16.6
-
Consistent upward visibility trend in Google Search Console
This shows strong early-stage SEO traction for a completely new product website.
